Yes, KSP are up and running with a blog so we can post more stories and images of what we are up to. And what better way to start than with a wonderful story about a classroom we have just funded with the help of Kate Wilkinson.

Click to view slideshow.Kate climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and raised enough to cover the funding of the new classroom, plus have 30 desks made!

The Mbuwani Primary School is situated outside of Ukunda on the Diani Coast line of East Kenya near to Mombasa. The children were using a shed before the new classroom was built, which fell down due to heavy rainfall early this year . The school had a make shift classroom erected but it was not safe, so plans were drawn up by an architect. The construction of the new building was started early August 2011 and it has just been completed thanks to Kate Wilkinson’s hard work and KSP organising the new build. This is the second classroom we have built for the charity, and we hope to do many more!
